ADMINISTRATION
Work collaboratively with the
Director of Nursing in the general management
of the facility.
Implement the direction of the
Managing Board.
Oversee corporate governance
as required by CMS.
Provide contract administration
- labs, waste, dietitians, social workers, etc.
Grant access to insurance programs;
professional and general liability, property,
and worker's comp.
Install an inventory management
system to help monitor and control supply costs.
Provide side-by-side comparisons
to help with cost controls.
Provide access to competitive
supply pricing from all the major manufacturers.
BILLING
AND COLLECTIONS
An experienced staff focused on dialysis only.
A system designed specifically for dialysis providers, including electronic claims submission via clearinghouse.
Billing and Collections done on a timely basis, with the majority of all Medicare payments generally received by the third week of the month.
Secondary billing sent out within 24 hours of notification of primary payer payment.
Staff dedicated to insurance verification, coverage and eligibility.
Complete charge capture using shared database between clinical management system and billing system.
FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING
Establish and maintain an independent
accounting system.
Handle all banking matters.
Generate detailed monthly financial
reports.
Complete all federal and state
tax filings.
Complete all other required filings,
including property taxes, business taxes, etc.
Complete the Medicare Cost Reports
and other related filings.
Provide complete payroll processing
and services.
Process and pay all clinic trade
payables.
HUMAN RESOURCES
IDS will provide all services required to staff
the new facility, including:
Comprehensive H.R. policies.
Written job descriptions.
Advertising for open positions.
Assistance in the interviewing
and selection process.
A complete employee handbook.
Guidance on handling employee issues and/or terminations.
Handling of unemployment insurance claims.
